Berschler & Draluck has over 80 years of legal experience. Attorneys Arnold Berschler and Eric Draluck have provided legal representation to clients in maritime claims across America in both state and federal courts. Many lawyers that do not have experience in the practice of maritime law have referred their maritime clients to us.

About Our Attorneys


ARNOLD I. BERSCHLER is a Proctor in Admiralty member of the Maritime Law Association of the United States. He is certified by the California State Bar as a legal specialist in admiralty and maritime law. Arnold recently has litigated maritime and civil cases in federal and/or state courts in the states of Washington, California, Florida, New York and Michigan. He has appeared in United States Coast Guard Administrative hearings. Arnold truly enjoys practicing law. Arnold’s goal is to achieve successful results for our clients. He believes in being both transparent with clients and keeping clients up to date about their cases. The State Bar of California licenses Arnold to practice law.

ERIC R. DRALUCK is licensed to practice law in Washington State and California, and holds a Master’s degree in Public International Law. Before going into maritime law, he represented individuals and small business, mainly in personal injury, immigration, and general civil law. He has wide-ranging experience in case preparation, dispute resolution, litigation, and appeals. He taught legal research and writing, edited academic and legal texts in human rights law, and he worked on development of legal tools for the International Criminal Court. Eric’s approach in each case is to understand the client’s issues and needs, to use the law toward those ends, and to communicate fully with the client every step of the way.
